Lovely friendly staff at Novotel, they couldn't do enough for us. Excellent service with the food and drinks too. The rooms are a bit dated but they were spotless and the bed was very comfy. The only negative was that our room was next to the service room so it was quite noisy when staff were going in and out for supplies in the afternoon and morning. However, the amazing staff made our stay and we would definitely come back again!

Often stay in the area for work, lovely hotel, room and food all delicious and hot had fish n chips first night and club sandwich second night top marks to chef for quality food served perfectly (Im fussy as used to be a chef!) bar staff friendly and thanks for the gin conversation about the isle of wight coloured bottles! Breakfast team great too and breakfast standard was truly perfect. I am def coming back next month. Thanks guys!

My husband and myself always enjoy our stay at this Novotel Hotel in Southampton, not only is it very convenient for local attractions and the New Forest but the rooms are spotless, the breakfast extremely tasty with plenty of choice and the staff so very helpful especially Brian and Colin who when we are at breakfast, look after us so well, always having a laugh and joke with us, whilst making sure everything we need is to hand. Thank you.

Despite the great location & good front of house service, the rooms need serious upgrading. The mini fridge didn't work, the bed side light had no bulb in it!, the pillows were diabolical (and not enough for the family room we had) and the separate toilet was grim, wallpaper / deco looked like it hadn't been updated since the early 1980's. The reception area and toilets downstairs had better attention but contrast this to the room we stayed in, was very disappointed considering the price we paid for the room and previous times I've stayed in other Novotel's (Greenwich) which offered a better experience.

The hotel is nice, clean and welcoming. The staff is lovely. We came with my assistance dog and everyone was very friendly and happy to help. At breakfast we were especially impressed with the staff members Alfie and Veronika. Both were friendly, kind, attentive and polite. Veronika was very professional, helpful and accommodating to us and my need to be accompanied by an assistance dog. Thank you both for a great stay and a pleasant start to the day.
